One of the last assignments in my black and white photography course tied into a presentation that each student had to prepare. Without our knowledge of this little assignment, each student had to present on a photographer of their choice. After doing so, we all had to take two photos and replicate either the style of the photographer or two of their own photos.

Black and White: Print Interaction

Arguably my favorite (and best) assignment that I did in these photography courses was the fifth black and white assignment. The idea was to present a small series of photos that somehow interacted with each other. My inspiration came sort of randomly, if I remember correctly. I had stumbled upon a cover of Grease’s “You’re the One That I Want” in a Chanel perfume ad. The song, by artist Lo-Fang, had captured my attention.
